Not every rider is local to SmoothRider — and not everybody wants to travel.

Although Shropshire has some of the best riding roads in the country, many riders prefer to learn and build confidence closer to home, on roads they already know and ride regularly.

That’s exactly why SmoothRider offers the Come To You option.

Rather than travelling to me, I travel to you.

Whether you want to improve confidence on local roads, prepare for a tour, develop advanced roadcraft, improve cornering or simply become smoother and safer on the roads you ride every week, coaching can take place in your own area.

This option is available on any SmoothRider coaching day.

Before arrival, I will plan routes around your location and objectives. Following an initial assessment ride, routes and focus areas may be adjusted during the day to ensure the coaching remains tailored to your needs.

Your coaching day will typically finish at approximately 16:00hrs.

Pricing

The standard coaching fee applies plus:

• Accommodation — £75 per night
• Travel — 30p per mile
(Travel charges apply to return mileage from SmoothRider to your location.)

Example 1 – One Rider | One Day | 125 miles away

Course Fee: £325
Accommodation (1 night): £75
Travel: £75

Total: £475

Example 2 – Group of Four | Two Riders per Day | Two Days | 125 miles away

Course Fees: £810
Accommodation (2 nights): £150
Travel: £75

Total: £1,035
Equivalent to £258.75 per rider

(Each rider receives a full day as part of a two-rider coaching format.)

Example 3 – Two Riders | One Day | 125 miles away

Course Fee: £405
Accommodation (1 night): £75
Travel: £75

Total: £555
Equivalent to £277.50 per rider

Bring a friend — sharing travel and accommodation costs can make the Come To You option surprisingly cost-effective while still giving each rider dedicated coaching time.
