A Pet dryer for the bike

There’s more to do with a bike dryer than just dry the bike

Not leaving your bike wet after a good wash is preferable but bikes are notoriously difficult to dry completely. They are full of nooks and crannies, and hard to get to places that just hold onto the moisture.

For many years I would wash the bike down, then as best as I could I would get ride of the excess moisture with a microfibre cloth. As a last resort I would rune the engine to get rid of what I couldn’t reach. That seemed to bring its own problems in that it usually generated clouds of steam that would obviously condense on electrics etc and lead to possible corrosion.

I had seen bike driers as an option for a while but at around £150 plus were they really a way forward.

Then this Christmas I was bought one as a present, to be more precise I was bought a pet dryer, less than half the price of a bike drier.
